Work with a talented team of sustainability experts, software engineers, and product developers.
Responsible for all aspects of finance, including accounting (collaboration with external tax advisors), financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and tax planning.
Implementation of efficient reporting structures and financial systems for internal monitoring and external investor reports.
Development and maintenance of operational and financial models, including profit and loss statements, cash flow, and balance sheets.
Development of policies for standardizing internal reporting of recurring revenue, ARR, EBITDA, etc.
Implementation of best practices and financial processes for smooth operations.
Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial data and reports.
Close collaboration with the CEO to support strategic and operational initiatives across the company.
At least 2-3 years of experience in financial management and accounting, ideally as the first employee in this role at a B2B SaaS startup.
Experience in accounting and financial reporting.
Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and financial performance analysis.
Proven track record in implementing financial systems and processes.
Experience with accounting and financial management tools, especially DATEV.
Exceptional analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Strong work ethic.
A location in Berlin is preferred but not mandatory.
Fluency in both German and English.
